I was bitten by the House-bug somewhere at the end of the 1980’s by my nephew. Although I only started mixing with vinyl at the end of 1996, I bought already some tapes and compilations to enlarge my electronic music knowledge .My first records where the records my neighbor had bought in the past and I could use them, temporarily, to learn mixing and to listen to this modern kind of electronic style. The first records I bought, were more commercial music (club music) and trance music. I played at the local radio station (Dance Radio Plus) in Ghent and also the local parties at Secondary School. Afterwards, I was playing at different local student bars and also on trance and retro events which I organised together with an old friend of mine. I started also playing in bigger clubs (Illusion, Montini and bigger parties: Yoko Ono, Extreme parties, Cherrymoon parties, the first years or Age Of Love and I also started, in 2009 with my own concept: “Balmoral, The Reunion” which took place once a year in November with some oldschool resident deejays from the early 90’s. I organised it until the club, Balmoral, closed in 2017.
I bought my vinyl in Ghent at Music Man and Strictly Dance in that period. The main styles are trance, progressive trance, progressive, techno, hardtrance, aftertrance and also electro music. I only play with vinyl and nowadays, I will release my first record, named ‘After The Sun’ quite soon. You can find me on Soundcloud, Mixcloud and, off course, Facebook.
